The green light is marketed in the product information for mosquito-repellent use, but no independent efficacy testing is provided. Use the lantern as a light first, and do not rely on it as your only insect-control method.

IP65 does not mean submersible. Keep the charging port and USB cable dry, and never charge the lantern when it is wet or exposed to rain.
Do not place the lantern near open flames, high heat, flammable vapors, or combustible materials.
Use the hook or buckle only on a secure support that can hold the lantern. Do not hang it above people, children, or sleeping areas where it could fall.
Do not look directly into the LEDs at close range, and keep the light away from infants’ eyes.
Charge with a compatible 5V USB power source and stop using the lantern if the battery swells, overheats, leaks, or becomes damaged.
Keep the lantern, remote, and cable away from children unless supervised.
Clean with power disconnected using a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the lamp or spray liquid into its openings.
Allow the unit to cool and dry before storage.
